HRC TRENDS 2026

AI, potential, and candidate experience: how companies are redefining hiring processes.

During this edition of HRC Trends 2026, we saw that recruiting isn’t just becoming more digital, it’s transforming the way we make decisions.

Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition Trends, HR leaders and companies came together around a central question: how can we integrate AI into the hiring process without losing authenticity, fairness, and human connection?

Among the most relevant insights was the idea of AI as an invisible guest: not just an operational tool, but a critical partner able to listen, identify patterns, synthesize evidence, and suggest concrete actions.

The difference doesn’t lie in adopting the technology, but in designing its role within the process.

The cases presented showed different yet converging approaches. Pandora is moving beyond the CV to assess potential and reduce the time to offer.

Michelin is working on balancing corporate vision with local needs.

PwC is reflecting on how to reconcile a global identity with the power of AI.

Coca-Cola Italy is highlighting the theme of inclusion and the perception of legitimacy.

All of them explained and demonstrated that innovating ultimately means finding coherence between technology, culture, and human connection.

Silvia Corani, CCO of nCore HR, brought the candidate’s voice into AI‑enhanced hiring processes.

During the conference, she explained that:

“Data shows that interview anxiety often stems from the perception of unfairness, while the integration of AI and human interviews is viewed with curiosity and openness. Not substitution, but integration: AI can strengthen objectivity and transparency only when embedded within an architecture designed with responsibility.”
