Sailing Castle Cup 2026, Ischia

From 18 to 20 September we took part as Sailing Partner in the Sailing Castle Cup 2026, the regatta of the Forum Sailing Cup Corporate Edition, organized by For Human Relations with the Associazione For Human Community between Ischia, Procida and Naples. nCore HR was represented by Enrico Ariotti, CEO and Co-founder, and Mary Manna, Legal & Compliance Manager, on board with the crew of our HR Team.

It was three days at sea and of conversation with managers and C-level leaders from different companies. On Friday, in the “AI & HR Sailing Voice” session, Enrico brought the voice of nCore HR to a discussion on leadership, innovation and company culture.

The moment we will remember most came on Sunday. At the Sailing Cooking Cup, each crew received a box of ingredients and prepared a dish to present to the chef. The rules rewarded those who know how to collaborate and communicate, as well as those who cook best. Our crew won the Best Team award.
In that challenge we saw a scene we know well. When a hiring process opens, HR, recruiters and hiring managers work toward the same goal, but often each with their own notes, files and timelines. If the team does not talk, hiring slows down and whoever decides does so with half the information. For us, AI built into the workflow keeps everyone on the same process, with shared data and steps that are transparent and explainable, so that people can reach faster, better-informed decisions.
From the Sailing Castle Cup we bring home three takeaways for anyone running hiring:
- different roles, shared information: a team performs when everyone looks at the same picture;
- communicate while working, not afterwards: a manager's feedback carries more weight when it arrives while the process is still open;
- innovation starts from culture: a new tool works if the team knows how to use it together.
“A day when collaboration, strategy and team spirit made the difference, at sea as at work.”
At sea as in hiring, the team that talks wins.
